Booking Tips

• Although my presentations are free, there is a booking deposit of $50, refundable once I've completed the presentation.  Please refer to the Refund Policy for detailed information. 

• Speaking is my calling, and the only request I have is to cover any travel and expenses* over 50 miles from Vacaville, CA.

•  At least two weeks’ notice is required for a booking. Short notice between seven- and 14-days incurs a $100 non-refundable booking charge.

• If you are trying to schedule a presentation 14 days or less from now, you will be unable to do so on the website.  You will have to contact me to provide payment information and confirm I'm able to prepare in time.

   Interactive Workshops are available for many of the topics, as well as additional subjects—especially art-related. Just ask! Workshops may require that some materials be provided.

• Minimum time for a workshop is between 90 minutes and two hours plus travel and expenses.* Anything over 2 hours needs to include a break time.

  *Expenses for travel costs may include reasonable hotel and restaurant charges. 

   *I am located in Vacaville, CA, but am more than happy to travel. Please feel free to contact me. 

In order to effectively present my topics, the following are requested:

• Hands-free microphone (I can use one mounted on a lectern but prefer a clip-on).
• A power-point-compatible projection unit or computer with a remote and a large monitor TV or projection screen.  (My own projection unit can be provided but I still need a screen device on which to project).
• A lectern for notes/binder and an easy-access table for a water bottle.
• A high stool or chair to occasionally sit.
• Good lighting for reading notes.
• Comfortable seating for listeners.
• Restroom access.

Workshops have additional requirements to be discussed before booking.
